A participant at the Max Muscle grand opening stares down the barrel of a 105mm lens. She's certainly not camera-shy. Click

Natalie on the evening of her wedding. As I wasn't the official photographer, I left the flash and zoom lens at home and just used my trusty 28mm f/1.8 w/the camera's ISO cranked up all the way to 1600 to permit shooting in ambient light.

Dragon boats are long, narrow boats that somewhat resemble Crew Sculls except they are powered by two rows of oarsmen who face forward rather than one row that faces backward and keep time to a drummer. I was asked by a crew member of the Dragonslayers, the blue team in the background, to photograph this event as well as after-party.
Almost alone in this Blog, this photo was shot with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8, one of the finest lenses made by anyone. I don't use it much but always love it when I do.

A band performing that the annual Tobacco Road Anniversary party. For those not in-the-know, TR is Miami's oldest bar and holder of City Liquor License number 1. It had once been a speakeasy during prohibition and is rumored to have been frequented by Al Capone. This shot was taken without flash.

The last Saturday night before these former middle school kids start high school. Wow, it seems like only yesterday we were dealing with skinned knees and enduring yet another episode of
Barney. After the movies, they just had to stretch it out just a bit by ordering fries and shakes at Johnny Rocket's.

While in Manhattan at the MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) I came accross this couple and was struck by how they had each assumed nearly the same pose. A moment after I squeezed off this shot, they each shifted position.
